This is a non-bookish entry but something I want to share so…
Dear younglings (thanks for the term Bianca Mori),
Looking around, being with people, I see the extreme importance of learning all you can while you can, especially life skills. Learn these skills not because you should not need to seek help from others, but because the reality is, there won’t always be others who will have the patience for you, who you can rely on, who is willing to be at your disposal. Learn all you must because you don’t want to be a sad, limp individual who can’t advance because you chose to believe there’s always someone to get you out of your rut and clean up your mess for you.
Please don’t want to be that someone who can’t advance because you thought you won’t need this and that. That by the time you realize you do need those certain mundane skills, there’d have been too much going on for you to wrap your head around the new developments.
Embrace change. Embrace learning. Embrace advancement. Learn to fly on your own. Don’t wait for others to build your wings for you because honestly? You already have them. All you need is to unfurl them and start flapping. Harness the wind and your confidence and soar high.
Be an individual. Be a confident individual.
