Ulit ulit na lang… Dakilang may-akda…

I-apply natin.

I think one problem for many writers is na they think na suspension of disbelief is a given, that when a reader picks up a book, it’s with the agreement that they are willing to buy into your world- and character-building. To some extent, totoo ‘yun, especially if the genre is spec fic. But I think the writer’s job is to make that suspension of disbelief easy or even unnoticeable, not to assume that the reader will be there with them every step of the way. Because when my ability to suspend disbelief is stretched beyond my limits, hindi ko tinatapos yung book.

Some writers, especially new ones and/or the very young are irresponsible sa ganito. Nakakaloka lang. And yes, sarap ibato ng book when my disbelief is suspended too much. ?
