Eight years mula noong huli silang nagkita, hindi pa rin alam ni Diego kung bakit ganoon pa rin ang epekto ng babaeng iyon sa kanya. She made him burn! Kilala siyang cool na tao, iyon ang puhunan niya sa pagiging magaling na negotiator. Bakit pagdating kay Tamara del Rosario, naghuhuramentado ang damdamin niya?
Hindi rin niya maintindihan ang iritasyon nito sa kanya. He would have thought she’d outgrown all that hostility. Sa sobrang volatile ng personality nila, madadaig pa ng pagsasama nila ang ilapit ang isang posporong may sindi sa sumisingaw na LPG tank.
Saan nanggagaling ang lahat ng iyon? And why does it still matter so much? Regardless sa anumang damdaming kinikimkim niya para sa dalaga, wala iyong halaga. Ikakasal na ito sa best friend niya….

Trivia:

i got the idea of the plot from Proof of Life, the movie that starred Meg Ryan and Russel Crowe. Crowe was a professional negotiator in the movie, which is what Diego is. of course, my Alice, Tamara, can’t very well be married yet to Nick, or she and Diego would be committing adultery. hehehe

love the name Diego. a few people in my life are so named including Diego Castillo (of Sandwich, who’s a close friend), and a friend’s son.

Diego Bandido is a radio jock (i forget which station, Love Radio or Yes FM) but it was Victoria Amor who exclaimed this moniker when we were discussing him on my Multiply site.

the Ryan Pelaez mentioned here is the same Pelaez of Dangerous Love, brother to Bobbie of One-Sided Love.
